The Farm Store promotes and supports the non-profit organizations that are dedicated to the welfare of our pets, large and small and to our wild neighbors. We have events every year and the proceeds go to various groups. The "Rescue Fair" in March and the"Pet Fair" in September, provide a forum for the local groups to present themselves and the animals currently available for adoption. These events also provide a venue for the local 4-H groups that participate to fund raise with their barbecue and bake sale. The Farmstore also encourages the local 4-H youth during the Humboldt County and Redwood Acres Fair, the Farm Store gives out many prizes for 'Best Of' and 'Grand Champions'.
